Orachel, Do you still have those photo's? There is a way to to correct the salt water color pigmant that taking pictures underwater cast on the picture. Once you correct that it is also easy to bring out some of the true colors of the corals. I'll be posting some before and after pictures that were taken in the wild and that will give you an idea as to what you can recover. If you want, email me a couple and I will see if we can recover some color for you. It's free lol, as that I enjoy doing things like that! Keeps my skills up ;-)

Hi Orachel,

By all means feel free to use the coral pics for any textures that you would like to make out of them. I am also a member of Deviant Art and have been for years. I will be posting a lot more photos and also a lot of my Digital Art that has been created specifically in Photoshop. Just a little background on the Coral Photo’s! They were not taken in the wild LOL. They are pictures taken from my salt water aquarium as that I cultivate coral. It’s illegal to take from the wild so purchasing small peace and growing them out in a tank has become another hobby of mine. A lot of people are not aware that if you cast of light at 20,000K and at about 400Watts the real colors come out in the corals and they do not look as bland as they are in the wild. These are an animal and have florescent pigments that live inside them. Right light beautiful color. Best to you and yours...Gord
